As with many things in life, there is always a silver lining. If your pet is a guard dog, a guide dog, or if you have a pet that is part of a business, you actually can claim your pet’s expenses! Of course, this requires some additional work and documentation, but the option is available. Check out this article from the Huffington Post regarding your pet and your taxes.
